It really was a game that made no sense to me. I think I straight-up save state'd my way through the whole game. I'm not proud of that, but I don't remember having much fun with the game. I'm just a massive simp for Matsuno-verse so I had to force my way through

Crafting weapons not being a complete blackbox.
dont punish players for being good at chaining.
Finish the last third of the story.

for new players:
Don't gaslight the players by telling them that the more you use a weapon on an enemy, the stronger it will get with that class.
Clear feedback so that the player understand why his weapon that is strong against dragon hits a dragon for 1 hp.

I hate this game so much. I only had a few playstation 2 games as a kid and this was one of them. what a pile of bullshit. quarterly accounting spreadsheets have more fun game play.
