You lied to me! You said it was an easy game to beat, so I went into it with the expectations of it being on the level of difficulty as Kirby's Epic Yarn or Mario Odyssey when you aren't 100%ing it, only for me to have instances of me dying and getting game overs
The biggest issue is the partners from what I recall, work like Mega Man weapons, so once you run out of their HP, you cant use them again until you restart the level after losing all your lives. Some of the later bosses are pretty challenging and certainly not Kirby's Adventure easy, like I seem to recall a grim reaper type boss you fight being annoying.
My only real critique otherwise with the game is the soundtrack. Its cool each character has their own theme, but they get old after a while, or when you are likely only playing as Samson. They should have just done different stage themes.
>>11805614 (OP)If you want easy, try the rest of the Kirby series. It's pretty hard to game over in it.
>>11805614 (OP)Playing it again I genuinely found the difficulty nearly perfect, final boss was easier then I had remembered though. Game really does feel like it belongs among the greatest games on the system, just kind of a shame it has never seen any kind of rerelesse to put more eyes on it.
>>11805614 (OP)I had to watch speedruns to figure out the mouse strats for the bosses. He’s a complete glass cannon and mastering his bombs trivializes the bosses
>>11805680modern audience is so sensitive. I swear this board has the best gamers and the most weenie. Arcade threads have people casually posting incredible high scores, and then you have these platformer threads where people saying shit like Mighty Bomb Jack is too hard because they couldn't figure out the hover jump. And now this guy. The game is too hard because I died a couple times ;_;
>>11805803Oh, the Kirby games manage to be pretty easy. Same with Super Mario Land 2
>>11806828>Arcade threads have people casually posting incredible high scoresLiterally never seen this once. /vr/ is a hive of shitters who get triggered by the very notion of a 1cc. There's like 5 posters on the whole board who are halfway decent
>>11807478I posted a couple of threads where the OP was my high score (not great but I thought it was ok) and asked people to beat it (and expected most to), but some anons crushed it.
I'm playing it right now and if feels a bit too easy. But the real problem is the OST, who thought that a theme for each character but no stage music was a good idea?
>>11807478>shitters Says the emubaby who spams savestates to "practice" and has never played a game without autofire hacks.
>>11807478I used to make high score threads a lot before the hack. If there's actually demand for a thread like that I'll start another one. Some of the most chill interactions I've had on the site come from high score threads.
>>11809706Do it up.
> Some of the most chill interactionsFunny, I had some autist complain about the version I picked in every thread I made.
>>11809723Let me do a starter score real quick. Ignore the fags who complain about game versions, as long as you're not saying you beat a score by playing a different port and (most importantly) are having fun then there's no reason for them to bitch.
I wanna play this game but don't know how to begin... what are my Samson Options?
