The original price for one was 2,800 yen which made them a budget. There are also new graphics and CD music so they're more than "500 kilobyte ROMs".

Either way they're pretty bad releases but at least they were a way to play them without lag and sprite flicker long before emulation allowed it.

At least they are reprogrammed ports. Meanwhile Sunsoft was releasing discs with 2 Famicom games per volume which were just buggy emulators.

The were incredibly lazy with the CD music until the 4th one.
