Utterly forgettable platformers from the 6th gen
Anonymous No.11806853 [Report]
Yeah yeah, I know, somebody is going to post a popular game like Mario Sunshine or Jax or Ratchet. That joke is about as original as these platformers were.

No, it's one of those holographic things that reflects light at different angles.

Not sure if that one counts, the original games were re-released on Steam/GoG and there has been a modern reboot.

I remember having a demo disk (Don't remember how I got it) and even back then finding it lame. The story was laughably stupid, at least the story that was in the demo. People find a planet full of/made out of this goo-like material called... I think plast? That can apparently take any shape. For some reason scientists gave this goo life (How or why was not explained) and it fight back once it realizes people are harvesting it. Yet, your suit is also made out of it and you can control it?

The story, at least what I remember from the demo, made no sense. It was a 3D platformer with the gimmick that your suit can transform between different forms with different abilities.

If this game didn't get revived it would've suffered Sonic X-Treme syndrome where people hype up what's clearly a piece of shit cause their imagination is more powerful than objective truth. Thankfully it did come out so we're not stuck with eternal threads about this turd.

Not great but not forgettable. The emphasis on combat was cool and it had some nice movement based parts as well. It also had Billy West. A sequel could have been fire.

I only know this one because it's the reason why Katara in AtLA is named that instead of Kya, due to copyright reasons

Nobody even remembered that game existed a year after it's release, save for when they might pass by it on a Blockbuster shelf while still not renting it.

Echoplast. And basically it's a substance that can be shaped into anything from clothes to spaceships.
