For me it's Super Star Wars.
And yes, I did play it back in the day.
Probably the most fun platformer I've ever played.

Great game. The whole trilogy was awesome. I had Super Return of the Jedi for the longest time before I got to enjoy the other two. The only problem with Super SW that I remember was no password system so you had to git gud and beat it in one sitting.

I still remember the secret area in the first or second Hoth stage in Super Empire Strikes Back where you can drop down and there's a bunch of power ups and 1-ups.

Also that cheat where you could manipulate the Mode 7 effects like the Star Destroyer and text crawl in the intro.

it does a good job at recreating the mood of the film but the game is very shoddily designed, there are so many parts in the game where it's literally impossible to avoid taking damage, including pretty much all the bossfights and the final deathstar level.

The SW sidescrollers are awful adaptations of the source material both in tone and content, but still solid and entertaining games in an over-the-top sort of way.

Which of the three would /vr/ say is the best? (Or four, since the Indy game is basically the same approach but with Indy)

i might be a minority here
i don't like the snes titles that much really
i do prefer nes titles in many cases for whatever reason
