Been playing through retro Star Wars games, what else should I check out?

Clunky and basic 3D hack and slash. Glitchy and controls aren't nearly as fluid as you'd expect but a lot of thoughtless fun
>The Clone Wars
Vehicles missions vary from meh to good depending on the vehicle and the terrain. Difficulty is kind of all over the place. Foot missions are beyond awful due to garbage controls. Glitches abound. Still strangely addictive
>Jedi Starfighter
Super boring and unengaging
>Rogue Squadron 3D
Awesome fun, probably my favorite of the bunch. Smooth for the most part and a classic
>Jedi Outcast
Slicing people up with a lightsaber is great fun and the third person/first person perspective switching is a nice touch
>Bounty Hunter
Just started, seems cool. Variety of weapons, controls are fine. Might be repetitive but I'll have to see what the missions are like going forward as far as objectives and setting

I'm particularly curious about Dark Forces,

Galactic Battlegrounds.

Republic Commando, and the original Battlefront 1 and 2

I got frustrated with rogue squadron maybe half way through. After the bespin mission I dropped it. Maybe I'll have to continue my save at another point. It is a really fun game and looks fucking sharp for n64.

dark forces 2 and it's addon are awesome. there is also nice hd packs for these. the first isn't bad either but it's just doom.

That’s Factor 5 for you. They were friggin wizards w Nintendo tech for a few years there. Rogue squadron 2 on GameCube still looks graphically impressive to this day imo.

I recently got myself an old Wii because I just couldn't emulate rouge squadron 2 properly no matter what machine I tried. they really pulled off some kind of Chaos magic to make this. stills looks so good.

I recently tried replaying Outcast and I couldn't finish it. Hell my play sessions always ended midlevel because I simply got bored. I love the gameplay but the level design is really maze like and visually so boring. The nail in the coffin was the AT ST section on Yavin. It just sucked so bad I had to give up and move onto something else. I kinda want to replay Jedi Academy because I loved it so much as a kid and remember a lot of levels really well but I'm worried it'll suck as an adult.

I mean they are the ones who put RE2 on the 64. Such a shame I don’t think they got one post retro game off the ground and from the looks of it they had a completed rogue squadron game for wii that was never released. That’s a damn shame.

Battle Above Taloraan is fucking rough without the upgraded blasters/shield/upgraded locking missiles. You're not going to get the Gold on that one until you've found all the upgrades. Also that one spot where you collect the upgrade, and a single Tie Interceptor spawns in is rough. The last platform has Missile platforms that blow up the civilian fuel cannisters, which fails the mission if you're not careful. Game trolls you hard on that mission.
