The classic Doom soundtracks always had a pretty even mix of tracks like At Doom's Gate and Suspense and everything in between like The Imp's Song or Bye Bye American Pie. In fact Doom II actually had way less tracks like At Doom's Gate. Even its Intermission track was darker and moodier than Doom 1's.
