I dont really care, but I will say I kinda prefer the slightly older looking clay model they made for the western release as opposed to the original and I wish one Smash game would try and use that as a basis for a slightly older take on the character.

>>11809865 (OP) there is zero meaningful difference between the ages of 12 and 13
>>11809908 >13 is a teenager which is a distinct part of a person's life you've never been around kids aside from when you were one just because the number has "teen" at the end of it doesn't mean its actually special, its a semantic distinction if I put you in a room with ten 12 year olds and ten 13 year olds, you would not be able to determine which is which. there is no meaningful difference in physicality or behavior
>>11809914 Same with 18 and 20 despite one being a legal adult and the other in school. Things are gradual.

>>11810062 the onset of puberty is variable. again, if I put you in a room with ten of each, you would not be able to identify which was which. if you think otherwise you are simply wrong.

>>11809893 Things move real fast at this age and people experience puberty at different rates. Women are typically about 90% developed at 13 but for many males, 13 is just 12 part 2.
>>11809914 >if I put you in a room with ten 12 year olds and ten 13 year olds, you would not be able to determine which is which. Bullshit. You clearly don't have any kids of your own and/or don't spend any time around kids. Ages 0 through 18 is one giant critical growth period. During this time, people can grow nearly a half a foot and pack on 8-10 pounds per year. Not to mention the huge difference between cognitive ability. Go into an 8th grade classroom and then go into a 9th grade classroom. There is going to be notable differences in development. Just because you can't see any difference doesn't mean it isn't there.
I think JP fits better with his general look, he doesn't look like an early teen at all in my opinion

>>11810862 9th grade is minimum 14 years old. a 7th grade classroom contains 12 and 13 year olds. you're saying you could tell which was which. this is because you're dumb as fuck and you have no idea what you're talking about. I work with middle-school aged kids, so I know exactly what i'm talking about. keep your ignorant whore mouth shut.
>>11810871 I've never used twitter in my life. Is that some kind of dig zoomers like to use when thry cone across something thry don't understand?
>>11810929 >9th grade is minimum 14 years old Wrong. If you actually worked with middle schoolers, then you'd know it's possible to be 13 as a freshman. How do you work with them exactly? You're right that I got my general ages wrong, yet it makes little difference because one year makes a huge difference in someone's life. Besides your inability to notice the basic differences between age groups, we're comparing a Ness that would be 12 to a Ness that would be 13 and not different kids with slightly varied development.

>>11811041 kids born in August or September turn the max age of the grade level at the beginning of the school year. you don't have a clue what you're talking about. shut your whore mouth.
>>11809865 (OP) i don't think the jp version gives ness an age. i figure he's 12 like the m1 protag though. same with lucas after the timeskip. i assume he's 12 then as well.
>>11818063 >>11818056 Actually, I just looked this up and it turns out it is an East Asian thing in general but the Japanese government pushed for adoption of western age reckoning so younger generations don't adhere to it.
>>11810067 >>11810484 I remember first realizing how the word teenager means 13 and up. In my native language the word that's used as a native equivalent means ages 11-19. 12 and 13 feel completely the same.
