i could never find anything on how to do all the moves in the game. it only tells you some of them in the manual.

One of the PSX's smoothest fighters, the original isn't bad either. Wild it was the developer's first 3D game.

Robo Pit is still one of my favorites. Not an amazing fighting game. But it really was rock em sock em robots.

Its a clunky arena fighter, so like most it's not the worst gameplay experience but not anything amazing either. You just run around a ring beating each other up with basic attacks.

The cool thing about it, is the variety of robot designs that you can customize and create your own combos of body parts, weapons etc

i know Transformers were from the 80s, but they were pretty much like the thing that changed the standard from older fashioned scifi robots, but they were still pretty common then outside of Transformers. moreso than later , in the 90s i remember Zbots had some designs like that too

Japanese style robots are a different thing, which of course is the lineage Transformers come from. More commonly in Western science fiction you'd see things with claws or wrenches for hands, wheels or treads replacing legs, non expressive faces etc
