3DO was the worst port of Doom. Unless you want to give the 3DO version bonus points for having music that's worth putting up with for a playthrough in spite of everything else being awful. Then worst would probably fall on SNES or GBA.

Doom was technically very old and unimpressive by that point, and also on every console, and would've conflicted with the crap filtering on the N64. So they retouched everything so it doesn't just look like another port. It still uses the old monsters and weapons, but ALL the graphics were redone completely in a darker atmosphere, and there are different levels/textures. It's actually quite interesting if you are a fan of the game. Unfortunately they also made everything dark, so you can't see shit.

I mostly remember it for the pretty baller intro, and the new weapon (Unmaker, a laser gun you have to upgrade during gameplay to finally turn it into a three barrel rapid fire monster that makes the BFG look like a chump).

3DO port shits all over the atrocity that was the Saturn port. Imagine playing the game at 12fps, unless a monster comes across the screen, then it starts dropping the speed even more. Plus the weapons are not in sync with the framerate, so the gameplay is super sluggish but your chaingun fires at its original rate of fire.
