>>11818970personally i love that shit but i can understand why people dont, regardless burnout 2 is a great game but it didnt reach the heights that 3 did, despite 3 being a much simpler game. people remember takedown, revenge, dominator, paradise, not 2 and sure as hell not the original. and when burnout is brought up people talk about yellowcard, fall out boy, guns n roses, avril lavigne, etc, not the gameplay. the gameplay is extremely mindless but the soundtrack elevates it by pumping you up and making you enjoy it. burnout would have been forgotten with all the other eurojank racers of the 2000s had EA not picked it up and forced a licensed soundtrack on them. whether thats a good or bad thing is up to you to decide.
