Apparently this was considered lost and had no known dumps anywhere online. The only proof of its existence was its cover art, but now it's been found and preserved online. Though, it looks like it's running on a PS1 emulator.

Indeed. "Neco.dat" file contains an ISO of the US version of Pac-Man World for PSX.
The emulator is ePSXe version 1.2.0 which matches with the file dates of early 2001.
So what's the story on korean bootleg PC games? This shit has a physical box, custom-made launcher software and everything. Was there just no copyright enforcement in early 2000's South Korea? That's a bit surprising considering how they're an US ally.

That doesn't mean US can control other countries law.

I don't really know much about it, so take it with a grain of salt.
Windows 95/98 ports of PSX and Saturn games were quite common back then in East Asia. Some of them were either licensed or bootleg. This pic related is a good example.

MMX4 got a PC port in the west too. It's the best version to play as well over emulation since there is zero input lag or loading times

There were a bunch of releases like this in Korea, same with official PC "ports" of arcade games that were just running mame.

There's a Korean PC version of the PS1 port of SMT 1 that's apparently unique to all other versions of the games. Get one of them to hop on that.
The existence of it is weird as fuck but I guess it's not, there's quite a few PS1 Japanese games that ended up on Korean PC's for some reason

Not retro, but I found this a while back.
Was really curious what was really going on, if it was just a reskin of another game or maybe emulation of the lesser taxing ports.
(Crash Titans does not have a known PC port)

The back says "Supervillain Studios" who were responsible for the Titans PSP port, so I think that's the answer.

>I find Chinese bootleg on Ebay.
>I am still curious what is on the disk (I don't own it), can't possibly be actual PC port.
>Come to the conclusion that it is likely just an emulator with an ISO of the PSP version, due to context clues on the back of the box.
Is that good enough?

I guess it's disappointing, but it also was the most likely outcome.
