>move around corner
>frames start to skip because there are too many transparent light textures blinding you
>get shot before you can even aim and pushed backwards
>try to aim with the R button
>game is still skipping frames like mad so every little movement with the analog stick sends the crosshair further than you wanted
>enemy being aimed at is running around erratically and essentially teleporting through the frameskipping, becoming nearly impossible to hit
>enemies spawn behind you silently and shoot you
>turn around
>framerate plummets and frames skip
>end up turning too far around
>try to correct
>getting pushed around by bullets I can't even see being fired because they leave the gun and deal damage while the frames are skipping
>"QUICK! YOU HAVE 30 SECONDS TO DO THIS HYPER-SPECIFIC ACTION EXACTLY THE WAY WE WANT YOU TO DO IT! GO GO GO!"
>try to run away at 5 fps
>guards so far in the distance they are literally brown/grey pixels against blurry brown/grey textures
>look at them and shoot
>autoaim doesn't even try to help
>get killed
...
.......
Am I missing something vital? Why is this game WAY more difficult to control than Goldeneye???
At least in Goldeneye, the autoaim helps you in laggy and hectic situations but PD is so frustratingly difficult I don't understand how anyone can play it on Perfect Agent on N64 without going mad.
