Is there any way to play psx lightgun games with my mouse? Pic related was my favorite one back in the days. I tried to play this on a PSX emulator on my Wii and playing with the wiimote was alright but the emulation was far from perfect plus some stages crash the console. Also psx lightgun games thread i guess

In Duckstation you change your controller settings to Guncon and it lets you use your mouse cursor as a crosshair.

Yup but LMB & RMB arent mappable and it seems like the Mouse injector isnt supported

It's a big if but if you've by any chance got access to a vr headset and a pc there's a thing called emuvr which is essentially a virtual bedroom with crt tv's in it and it runs an older version of retroarch allowing you to play old consoles on the crt's including light gun games. I've tried the virtua cop games, time crisis and house of the dead on there and it's surprisingly accurate. Bit of a weird solution but if you've got access to the hardware it is a solution and when you look down at your controller you'll see the actual light gun from whatever system you're using which is a cool touch
