could some kind anon tell me what romset to use for the current FBneo core on retroarch ?

>>11834531Genesis plus gx uses Nukey OPN2. Which funnily enough is directly referenced in that link:

So no, clowmdemu doesn't have the most accurate audio. Genesis plus gx and the MiSTer FPGA core do, Blast em
is likely better too.

I downloaded A Link to the Past, and for some reason back then Windows automatically associated .smc files with internet explorer, so I thought that somehow the file would play like a flash game in the browser, but could never figure out how to get it to work.

Are dumb/newbie troubleshooting questions allowed?
Currently using Everdrive GBA Mini x5 1.16 with Jagoomba Color 0.5. Having trouble getting GB/C games to save manually and read the RTC. Saving and then restarting with the Jagoomba menu gets the save to stick, and games that auto save work normally, although the RTC doesn't work in either case. For a specific example, Harvest Moon 1 saves normally but the Harvest Sprite Help function doesn't work, and Harvest Moon 2 doesn't save. GBA games work fine in all regards, and diagnostics show that the Everdrive's RTC works fine. I even replaced the battery for shits and giggles. PC also shows that it's writing save files, just not reading them apparently. I don't know shit beyond that. What could be the problem?

>>11851984Lie to everyone about the screen of the retroid pocket mini and essentially sent out a product with a fucked up screen, then spent months slowly backpedaling and blame shifting while getting youtubers to run cover for their bullshit until it was finally undeniably proven what they did. Thats the biggest thing anyway.
>>11851783DDLs are safe, which is why a lot of people prefer them to torrents
>>11851039>>11851973Update on this, enabling RTC on Goomba itself enabled it on all GB/C games. Before, I couldn't turn the option on for the games, now it's on for all of them by default.
The saving issue is exclusive to the GB/C games, and only those with manual saving. There's also a workaround, saving the game then restarting or exiting from the Goomba menu gets the save to stick, although exiting just restarts the game. Also, it's only a workaround, not a fix, as it needs to be done every time. All of this leads me to believe that it's an issue with the emulator and not the flashcart or the ROMs.

Why is navigating the menus in retroarch such an such an annoying pain in the ass. You can have what you want to select highlighted with your mouse curser and that won't be what's selected. Often times it's what was selected a moment ago. No wonder retroarch installations break all the time.
