i remember itw of spector talking about how playtesters stacked boxes in new york to climb instead of taking stairs but i couldnt find this itw again, anyone has it? it basically started this whole meme but its so hard to find now

I know the ultima anecdote but I also vividly remember a similar deus ex anecdote about stacking boxes. It might have been another dx1 dev. But I've never been able to find it again.

I once read that ToeJam & Earl 3 was supposed to be a more evolved version of the original game but meddling producer kikes forced them to make it a collectathon because they wanted to copy Donkey Kong 64. It's true but whatever page I read that on got scrubbed from the internet.

I remember on the Planet Deus Ex forums around 2003ish someone posted about reading in a UK gaming magazine circa 1999 about the mission set in London that was cancelled before release, and that it featured concept art of Big Ben half submerged in water, something that afaik has never resurfaced
