The group that bashes the Adventure games are millennials that owned a SNES/N64 and furry xoomers who got invested into Sonic (cartoons) in the mid-90s.

"Late" millennials and early to mid Gen Z however are the ones that got the attachment to Sonic Adventures when it drop on the GCN and when Sonic X aired.
Most of them are just new generation Sonic fans that did grew up with Nintendo but got invested into Sonic once the series became multiplat.
As they were tendies, this brought in the suspect autists to the Sonic scene.

Late Zoomers and the oldest Gen Algo (Alpha) generation are the worse of the tendie generation because they're part of that era where they digested the opinions of late xers/millennials that bashed Sonic, meta shit on social media, and fawned off heavily on nostalgia for Classic style of the 2D and 3D games.
They're also the generation eating the most recent tv/movie/comic slop and jump up and down whenever the fat comic book hack do quips and references of their favorite transexual Sonic let's play eceleb.
