I have in my possession a cancelled game for the Atari 8-bit computer. the copyright is owned by Sega but they never released it, but the guy who coded it is about to die and is still pissed it was never released. how do I go about getting this out there? I'm not looking for payment, just to make a dying man happy.

They accept other things as well. There's an email link on that webpage where you can specifically ask if they can take Atari 8-bit computer games.

Make a post on AtariAge in the Atari 8-bit Computer Forum. The SEGA ports from that era are great; an un-dumped one would be a big deal.

I'm under the impression OP needs to dump a cartridge or Atari formatted floppy disk and doesn't have the equipment to do so.

Makes perfect sense, and is even cooler; there are a bunch of guys at AtariAge that can help
