The "Sega FY1997 Brand Review Document" has proved that Western consumers simply rejected the Saturn.

The document shows that the people at Sega of America didn't have a clue, they were half-arsing it and their summary basically amounts to "PlayStation is beating us because people like it more".

>Sony is generally perceived to be cheaper.
Those sure were the days...
That stopped being true with the PS2.

if this is from around the time saturn was released then there's no citation for things that never happened. sega were blaming everyone and everything for their demise in the market place, probably just to keep their parent owner CSG happy. CSG sold sega a few years after saturn's release. they knew it was a sinking ship.

If you spent studying the same time you spend finding ways to make the Sega Saturn win the console war inside your head, you could have already built a time machine to go back in time to kill Bernie Stolar.
But you didn't, and now we have to suffer your schirophrenia. Forever.
