Me too but I hated that there was no post game so if you didn't get all the monster encyclopedia before the last dungeon you couldn't get them anymore

I liked how it looked, but I prefer the og version.

God, I don't. I got this game when I was a kid because I had just emulated Seiken Densetsu 3 so it was a huge disappointment. I remember all of the weapons sucking and my allies did nothing but noodle around on the other side of the screen like idiots. I feel like it might not be as bad as I remember though. I ended up playing the original GB game a few years ago and found it to be way more enjoyable.

The bow was comically overpowered thanks to its wonky hit detection that doesn't give a shit about things like spacing or the 3rd dimension and lets you score multiple hits with one arrow.
The final boss can be defeated in seconds with that thing.

but i am also so autistic i did a run where i grinded all the enemies to black.

Framerate is too bad and difficulty is too low, but the potential for a great game is there.

Sword of Mana was the first game as far as I know that introduced the god awful GBA Final Fantasy font and for that reason alone, I dislike it.

Me too. I always choose the girl on replays and stick with the staff, only ever switching weapons for those stupid things that block pathways that require specific weapon type to break. I don't understand the point of that.
