There's also a very underrated remake of the arcade game for java/j2me phones, it even let you use new or old graphics.
There seems to be more Popeye games for those phones too, never played them though.

I had one back in, like, 2005 or so, maybe? I also had the shirt Castlevania game, really fun versions of Burgertime and Tetris, a bouncy Tetris and other fun games. I'll don't really like current phone games.

I still wonder why Nintendo hasnโ€™t rereleased or referenced Popeye, itโ€™s not like King Features is gonna charge them a fortune.

They could at the very least have re-skinned the arcade/nes and Game&Watch games with Mario characters and re-released them that way.
