I wonder how people would feel about a Half Life mod that uses Halo 1's hybrid health system with regenerating armor and non regenerating health? Might be cool and prevent such a scenario from being an issue. Perhaps there could be a compromise where armor only regens half-way so batteries and recharge stations don't get removed.

Have you beaten any Halo on heroic or legendary difficulty? I would recommend you at least try before saying such a pretentious thing.
I've beaten every game on legendary and I can say that your skill in Halo really doesn't transfer to Half Life because what each game expects from you is different.

there's no skill in winning at halo, you have infinite lives and frequent check points. you just die a few times until you learn the flowchart through the shootout. maybe that's a real test of skill for you, but those of us at the second peak of the ol' DK curve (pic rel for your reference where you can see the two peaks i'm referring to) recognize that you're just bad at games.
