Battle assault was good. Great characters and visual presentation. Moves were easy to pull off. Never played inuyasha. A kid from high school did an end of year slideshow project on inuyasha because it was on toonami at the time. The teacher had a rule where the presenter gets to submit one test question based on their topic. Luckily she threw out that idea because we would have a test based on shit like inuyasha, horse racing, godsmack, The Rock, and ben and Jerry’s ice cream.

I was okay with that. I grew up with mortal kombat so when I played GBA I got my fucking ass smacked and took forever just to beat it on easy mode. I would eventually start playing real fighting games similar to street fighter like alpha and guilty gear but would sometimes go back to GBA2 just because you don’t need all the complex systems to just have a fun fighting game.

I prefer the characters in the original versions of these games.

Battle Assault 1/2 came out at the height of Gundam fever and we got excellent voice acting all done by the real voice actors from the various anime.

NTA but aren't both those games well liked? I actually think Endless Duel, the Natsume game, generally has a bit more praise than BA. Never saw any consensus either way though.
