You'll notice that Square was not multi-platform until 7th gen. Unless you count handheld

Many games on SNES, none on any others
Many games on PS1, none on any others
Many games on PS2, none except the one Nintendo paid for (Crystal Chronicles)

Well obviously they would have ripped out all the garbage that fills most of those discs during the porting process.

Square only had some really early N64 devkits from '95 that were quite buggy and lost interest in the N64 as a whole because of a deal with Sony

Square was not exclusive to the Famicom/NES during those years. They made games for Japanese computers like the MSX and PC88/98 as well.

Wasn't this during the era where Square and Nintendo had an ugly falling out after the SNES CD add-on fell through?

Why the ESL thing though? Why always the port beg is for Nintendo systems? Why would he want to make anons think he is a guy who speaks broken english and wants games ported to this or that nintendo system? It seems falsflaggy and fake.
He is almost always on Darkstalkers threads saying "snes port?" "why no snes port?" "when snes port?" etc
The ESLness always comes off as forced as fake, as if to make his post more obnoxious on purpose.
So, what's his plan?

N64 carts cost enough that it wasn't worth publishing anything you weren't absolutely certain was gonna sell like a quarter million copies because any left over would be insanely expensive.
Meanwhile printing PS1 games was so cheap they were still selling shit like Final Fantasy Chronicles all they way up until early 2010's. Chrono Cross is perhaps more notable here as the later post 2007 silver disc variant is more common than the black disc these days.

ITT: Actual ESL posters perceive commonly used informal English as an ESL blunder, ironically exposing their own lack of knowledge in the process.

Incredible stuff.

It would've been $80 for a SNES game you could buy in a pawn shop for $5 at the time, that would be fucking retarded.
On a related note, FF Anthology is the only legit ps1 game I owned, my ps1 was modded so I just burned games.

That's literally what Anthology and Chronicles were on PS1 already. Being on PS1 doesn't negate the fact that those games were still available on SNES.

Because they were wasting their time with the SNES CD with Sony and Phillips plus the Virtual Boy.
The N64DD+Nintendo Power might have resolved the issue but it was far too late to mitigate the issue
