Do you own physical copies of any of them somewhere? If so, you've already obtained it legitimately, and I don't think it would unethical or even unlawful to download iso images of what you already own. For the ones you don't have physical copies of, you could buy a license on Steam, and then download disc images of the old retail releases. I think this is ethical, but as for the lawfulness, I don't know. The classics are all on Internet Archive. Just use the downloads for legitimate reasons.

I don't know, honestly. That seems a bit more like a grey area. Looking at the numbers, there's a huge overlap. You already own the music, textures, models, maps, etc... Really, the biggest difference is going to be the executable. In other words, the console and PC version are probably 98% or more identical. I think it's your call.

Unfortunately, from what I’ve seen, the GR games have not being treated well in terms of qol. I have all the original CDs and steam versions; they’re basically unplayable on modern PCs. GOG doing a rework on these like they’ve done with other old games would be welcome bc I’m not aware of any working patches to get them up to 2025 standards.

I found out that Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow is missing on Steam because the port was that fucked up that Ubisoft had to memory hole it

Heroes Unleashed is highly overrated to me. Yea, it adds a ton of guns into the game, but as far as "missions" go, they're really just maps with really janky procedurally generated objectives. You're much better off just downloading mods like Year of the Monkey, Centcom, or Frostbite.
