Some Duke Nukem 3D devs were promised 4 or 5% royalties but Broussard reduced it to 1% when it was released.
After the original version of Duke Nukem 3D, Levelord left 3D Realms to work for another company. In the Atomic Edition his name was removed from the credits.
Duke Nukem Zero Hour is built on the Build Engine but there is no credit for that in the game so it is believed that they were hiding that fact to avoid paying royalties to Ken Silverman.
