It would be nice to have 2 servers, one for the nice park, and one for the shitpost spaghetti hellscape. It might be time to look into hosting services. I don't mind dropping a few bucks per month if it means we get 24/7 servers and multiple maps.

We tried this once and the 24/7 server was abandoned in a couple weeks. I think it burned everyone out (myself included, and I was hosting it). To be fair it was that plots map, it wasn't an anarchy map. People were mostly trying their best.
There's only like, what, 5-6 people who show up to the weekend servers consistently? I'm not sure how many of us would need a 24/7 server, especially one that's dedicated to chaos.
Maybe it could also change every week and have a dumb gimmick each time? I dunno. We can strawpoll vote it or something.

Hey, I remember that! I really liked the wooden coaster I made on that plots map. I think the problem for a 24/7 server is the map variety. Hosting a new map every weekend (or every other weekend) keeps the novelty value going. Plots worked well when we were trading maps by email and when multiplayer was new, but nowadays it's an outdated way to play.

I don't think it would be if we had a specific theme that isn't superficial.
Stupid shit like "Intense rides only" or X type of ride only" kinds of shit.
I don't think the servers should run concurrently though, if we do have two separate servers. The shitpost one should be during the week only.

2 parks and 24/7 at that sounds like a bad idea. We don't nearly have enough people for that to work even in the short term, and it would constantly be a ghost town the majority of the time.
Something that might be interesting would be a full game completion project where we all claim a park from RCT1 and build it.

Holy shit Rainbow Valley fucking sucks. Inspiration is NOT striking me.
I have an old save from 2018 that I've been looking at for ideas and I just found myself copying what I did in that park because I found all of the good spots to place rides in. I don't want to copy my old save, I want to make something new for the collab.
I know for a fact that if I save Rainbow Valley for last out of the 5 parks I need to do, it is almost certainly not going to get done, so it's gotta get done soon.
The intrusive thoughts are telling me to just use the 7 year old save.
