>>11867296Design better trees
>>11867316man, I wouldn't even mind doing a round 3. We have a lot of land left to build on and it's not too hard to access.
>>11867316We should definitely run this pack again another week.
Maybe have a shitpost week next week?
>>11867359Super Shitpost Island on the northern area
>>11867361I meant in a different scenario entirely that we can completely eviscerate but honestly there is so much room left we can dedicate one island to fuckery.
I'd rather the new scenario since this one is so nice so far.
>>11867375It would be nice to have 2 servers, one for the nice park, and one for the shitpost spaghetti hellscape. It might be time to look into hosting services. I don't mind dropping a few bucks per month if it means we get 24/7 servers and multiple maps.
>>11867381We tried this once and the 24/7 server was abandoned in a couple weeks. I think it burned everyone out (myself included, and I was hosting it). To be fair it was that plots map, it wasn't an anarchy map. People were mostly trying their best.
There's only like, what, 5-6 people who show up to the weekend servers consistently? I'm not sure how many of us would need a 24/7 server, especially one that's dedicated to chaos.
Maybe it could also change every week and have a dumb gimmick each time? I dunno. We can strawpoll vote it or something.
>>11867389Hey, I remember that! I really liked the wooden coaster I made on that plots map. I think the problem for a 24/7 server is the map variety. Hosting a new map every weekend (or every other weekend) keeps the novelty value going. Plots worked well when we were trading maps by email and when multiplayer was new, but nowadays it's an outdated way to play.
>>11867395I mean if someone hosts it I'll play on it. It has to be distinct from the regular weekend server, though.
>>11867381Don't like the idea of splitting the servers. I like the varying skill levels and juxtaposition of well-decorated and pretty areas and absolute chaos, and the potential for "if you can't build good looking stuff then stay in the shitpost ghetto" faggotry is too high
>>11867417>and the potential for "if you can't build good looking stuff then stay in the shitpost ghetto" faggotry is too highI don't think it would be if we had a specific theme that isn't superficial.
Stupid shit like "Intense rides only" or X type of ride only" kinds of shit.
I don't think the servers should run concurrently though, if we do have two separate servers. The shitpost one should be during the week only.
>>118673812 parks and 24/7 at that sounds like a bad idea. We don't nearly have enough people for that to work even in the short term, and it would constantly be a ghost town the majority of the time.
Something that might be interesting would be a full game completion project where we all claim a park from RCT1 and build it.

>>11869830>That could be fun. We should maybe leave it up to a raffle or else everyone is going to pick Forest Frontiers and Bumbly Beach.that's a good idea, maybe a random number generator picks scenarios and then we pick said number and whoever gets that number gets the corresponding stage.
The game completion idea sounds like it could be fun to bring new people on board too.
>>11868856For me, it's pickle park
>>11869830Can't do a random draw: some poor fucker will end up with a map they can't do and shit the project sideways.
>>11871331If we just did RCT1, nobody would end up with a park that's too hard outside of Rainbow Valley, and I say we accept if they use cheats to disable the landscaping stuff.
Is this going to be "complete scenario" or "complete scenario but also actually try to make it look nice"? Otherwise we'll probably see some scam coasters.
>>11871605I'd say try to make it look nice
I'm new and want to play on the weekend with you guys. Do i need to download any asset packs?
>>11871709Nope, joining the server automatically downloads all of the custom scenery and rides.
You should still install the 4chan kit in the OP anyway because it has a lot of cool stuff in it that you can use in solo play.
>>11871331>>11871597Okay then give me the hard maps. I will happily take Rainbow Valley and Ivory Towers. I won't even use cheats.

Wow, Mothball Mountain already done. So easy.
I vote that we can use the RCT2 versions of rides. I'm not a fan of OpenRCT2 forcing the compatibility versions of coasters with limited track pieces.

If someone doesn't have the custom content in your park, they won't be able to load it, and anything custom will just be invisible in a title sequence.
