I'm not sure if this allowed, but I didn't see anything in the rules that banned it. I apologize in advance if mods don't like it.
I wanted to let people here know that famous retro arcade historian and YouTuber Patrick Davis aka "Patman QC" has passed away.
For those who don't know, Patman QC is well known in the arcade gaming and arcade cabinet community. PatmanQC lost both his arms and both his legs 10 years ago. He was a huge fan of arcade games, and despite losing all his limbs, Patrick still wanted to contribute to the arcade community.
So he started a one man YouTube channel about 10 years ago, and created historical and documentary videos about many famous arcade games.
Even without his limbs, he was well known in the arcade community for producing very in-depth and very detailed videos about arcade games. These aren't cheap low quality "10 minute videos" that you see on other channels that are rushed.
PatmanQC's arcade videos were very well researched, well-edited, contained a lot of insider knowledge, and full his passion. His videos often lasted 30 minutes to over 1 hour. Even sometimes securing interviews with staff members who worked on arcade games in the 1980s and 1990s. He made around 350 videos on his channel and had around 90K subscribers.
PatmanQC was one of the few Arcade historical channels I actually subscribed to and watched. Other channels definitely werent as good as his. You could tell PatmanQC cared about his work and didn't rush videos out just to make money. PatmanQC was a quality channel.
RIP Patrick Davis aka "PatmanQC"
