It's funny how Reptile was the original secret character, loved for being this semi mythological figure even before Akuma, but soon as he entered the canon story, became the biggest mook/grunt

hidden character are always cool. On the other hand "duplicate" characteres are a bit controversial. Also it is impressive he is the first secret character ever. That and ninja fever in the early 90s.
