Anyone else a true YNer through here? Itโs infinitely more convenient than (especially for 2KKI) updating the file versions constantly. Collective Unconscious is also pretty good for a startup fangame
ynoproject.net
I think it's a strange way of experiencing the original game because the isolation of Madotsuki feels bound to the game'e atmosphere. I've spent a ton of time and reached a 2kki ending on that website though, which is a game where it feels slightly more appropriate to play in that multi-player way as it's such a scattershot presentation and so obviously a collaborative effort of a game. I've been playing a bit of Yume Tsushin recently and it's been alright, though just not different enough for me so far. Didn't play either of these on the website but really enjoyed LCDdem and .flow as well.
2kki is cool online. There's always a good handful of people online. I agree with the above anon that YN is more suited as an isolated experience, and there's hardly anyone online there anyway
>>11861454 (OP)I enjoy Yume Nikki and its fangames greatly, but the culture of the website irritates me to no end. Its zoomers galore everywhere you look, and it has even bled into the games themselves.
>>11861454 (OP)Stop advertising this shit, this was single-handedly responsible for killing 2kki. A game where you play as a socially isolated NEET who can't leave her room had zero reason to be turned into Club Penguin for "aesthetic" zoomer kiddies. Shit's fucked now that there's no barrier to entry to contribute and it's been flooded with garbage from Western teenagers
>>11863941>>11863448I mean you can turn off player visibility if thatโs such a turn-off
Also sorry Kikiyama and the rest made games with popularity greater than just literal Oldfags
I didn't touch Cave Story Multigayer nor OoT Multigayer, i won't do such a thing with Yumi Nikki either.
