I rather liked the games they made for the animated series but Maximum Carnage is probably the best 16 bit Spidey.

The Genesis version is way better than the SNES version. Better levels, better boss fights, and you fight way more of Spider-Man's rogues, then at the end it gives you an update on where the villains are after Spider-Man beats them.
The Rhino gets confused for a real rhino, sent to a zoo, and then gets hurt when a real female rhino tries to mate with him.

It sucks that these games are console locked and never got ported to anything. I know emulation is a thing but man, can't they just release a compilation of all the Genesis Spider-Man games and gouge me for the $40 or whatever? I'm trying to give you my money, assholes. Why don't you want it?
