I want to write up something to hopefully be helpful to people new to playing old systems using my own experiences and mistakes, and what I personally own. Including the cost of quality flash carts and ease of modding, how would this board rate a front loader NES, Genesis/MD model 2, N64, Wii-shaped GC, PS2 Slim, and DS Lite-shaped GBA from least to most worth getting for someone unfamiliar with navigating this stuff? The scam awareness portion is also pretty barren, with what I've written amounting to "filter eBay listings by sold for accurate prices, be patient, ask for more pictures if you're not sure, reference authentic carts, avoid anything cart-based if you don't want to bother with flash carts or learning how to spot fakes, don't ever touch chink marketplaces, and never buy a fake even if you know and are okay with using one." It feels pretty barren, similar to the part where I try to put into words that 4th-6th generation Nintendo games are in a price bubble and generally not worth buying. I know what I want to say but it keeps coming out awkwardly when I type
