They really went and fixed the issues Prime had with a stand alone expansion pack sequel. How does anyone even go back to Prime 1 now.

I envy people who like Prime 2 because I found it to be such a fucking slog to play through compared to 1 and NOTRETRO 3. It's also way too different and long to be called a standalone expansion pack, by that logic most Mega Man games are map packs

Oh yeah, I love having to wait long minutes every time to regain health in the dark world.

Not boring at all pure kino

Prime 1 is the slog to me, there's so many annoying things about it. There's the one note hallways you have to come back through immediately after getting a new item, no variations about them, and there's the multiple backtracks across the world map between regions multiple times, and that ice door right after getting the ice beam which tricks new players into a literal slog as they are submerged and lack the gravity suit. Game full of what were they thinking moments. However, we have clarity due to recent developer interviews. They have gone on record saying they purposely padded out the runtime because they were afraid it would be beaten too quickly.

You can heal quicker by killing enemies. The farming for items shtck is a staple in all the games. Serves as a punishment for players bad at the game, or rather encouragement to play better. Git gud and remain in the fast lane brother.

They made Prime 1's issue of having to collect keys even worse.

I thought they did it way better. From the beginning you're inducted into finding keys to open up temples like any standard Zelda game of the past 30 years. When it comes time to enter the final temple you're given much better hints on where to find them than Prime 1's riddles, and to top it off the dark visor will show you if the room you're in contains a key even if you're in the wrong overworld.

I think a lot of prime fans are retarded and don't really know what they are doing or why they like what they like. Each prime game improved on the last.

I like it more than 1, but the last 1/4 of the game or so you have to basically play in black and white because you need to search for those keys with the dark visor all over the map. That got pretty annoying after a bit. Maybe there's an easier way to do it though I don't know.

Why are you doing that? Between health pick ups and save stations you never have to rely on health regen like a god damn retard. You really sit there thinking "yes this is optimal and worth my time"

I remember knowing where they are, those luminoth lore entries give you hints. So you just navigate to the location, check the visor and done. No need to keep the visor on at all times.

Don't play with the hints, mate. The hint system has you running back and forth and all over. If you just explored and remembered what you could do after you got new upgrades, then you wouldn't be so pissy about running around.

Dogshit gameplay, trash layout, shitty FPS. You can't even aim with the c-Stick.
Good thing it addressed Prime's issues, faggots; it does not.

Prime 2 has the most convoluted map I've ever seen in a videogame. I've had an easier time navigating Daggerfall dungeons.
