Cosmonarchy is a heavily modded Starcraft game that's basically its own game at this point where each race goes from a humble 18 combat units to a whole 70+ combat units and counting.
Latency and responsiveness has been improved and many other things. It's free to play and compatible with Windows 7, 10, 11, etc.
It utilizes graphics from over 9 different RTS games and counting but they're working on unique graphics, portraits, icon graphics and soon a 4th race.
The AI can actually severely kick your ass without cheating.
The gameplay is much faster than SC1 matches lasting 7 minutes instead of 21 , similar to SC2, effectively improving the melee RTS, but it also makes it much more diverse due to the 10x amount of units.
