>>11867441Mega Man was about as general use of a robot as you could possibly get. Slap a gun on him, put a plow on him, put a dress on him, whatever. Now whatever Paharoah man is supposed to be, a tour guide, an entertainment device, a robot "built for exploring the pyramids and other ancient ruins," why would you put a gun on him? Especially a gun that fires a radioactive attack, that's solar powered, wheb his whole fucking purpose is to be inside something away from the sun? That's just a ridiculous design. Why is he so big? The passages in the pyramids are small. What powers does he need to explore pyramids? Oh, my joints are sealed to prevent dust and sand from entering, I got a big flashlight tah's really energy efficient and some cameras for illuminating the area and documenting my mission. I have a LoJack on a seperate power source so if something happens to me you can recover my robot corpse and harvest my data. Why would you give THAT guy a gun?
Even for his role his design makes no sense, and is usefulness in that role is probably negligible. You want to explore the pyramids? Take a rope, tie a met to it, lower it in, let it walk around with a video camera, if it dies drag it out, grab another met, etc. Or get one of the dozens of robots that can fly or hover or crawl. It's seriously just coming up with a solution for a problem nobody has.
