Late to the party on this one. I can't help but laugh at that last shot of Tobias in frame, with Boon forcing a smile. He was clearly brought back on board due to Warner Brothers, potentially to un-fuck the franchise after MK1.

Why are they including Advance? Is it going to be patched into something playable or will they really offer it as-is?

If Digital Eclipse is already working with Warner Bros., they should ask them nicely and add Atari's Tetris arcade game into Tetris Forever compilation.

I'm worried about this because Digital Eclipse's Cowabunga Collection had egregious input lag even on the lowly NES and GB emulated games

Both missing. Mythologies was kino.

Yup their emulation tends to suck and this is all emulated.

Zero chance that theyโ€™ll support the nonstandard refresh of the arcade games sooooo enjoy your screen tearing (again.)

I think it's included for posterity reasons. Just as a reminder that "Hey, this also existed too."

Oh look, it's this week's literal rerelease of a game that you can emulate in 30 seconds and no one gives a shit about, until your favorite streamer hypes it and people play it online again for 3 weeks then forget all about it.
Yay.

Reminder the trailer had an "And more!" when they showed the games. Then again, I feel no one has managed to create a commercial PS1 emulator good enough for collections, which I feel it's why Mythologies hasn't been shown.

They could just include the N64 version (which I prefer to not have to deal with the retarded acting of the cutscenes kek), but yeah, N64 emulation hasn't been included in these kind of collections as far as I recall.

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary, by the same team, can let you select arcade difficulty between 1-5.
Please have playable arcade settings and not input-reading Jade horseshit. Yes, you can easily clear arcade mode by jump kicking but I want a fun martial arts experience with classic characters.

trilogy includes all the characters from mk 1 2 and 3 with a new "aggressor" meter system and balance changes.
fun fact, the ps1 and n64 versions are actually balanced differently

1. Nobody uses GT anymore.
2. This is a marketing thread for a not retro game.

i mean honestly it really isn't a "Kollection" without getting everything possible, and there's still missing shit.
>no CD versions of the first 3 games
>only the arcade version of MK4
>no Trilogy, of any version
>no Mythologies
>no PS2 era games
I'm not gonna ask for Special Forces, but then fucking Advance is there, so posterity is dead anyway. That's still like half of the series, and changes and updates and bad ports or whatever, missing.

it's actually kind of funny how easy it is for folks to forget that these are the bozos that did both
>Mega Man Legacy Collection 1
>Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection
and that was in a time where they were just fuck awful at it with all sorts of issues abound, so incompetent that Capcom took their emulation work in-house with some major growing pains of their own. supposedly DE's later collections were better, but I don't expect this to be some blowout change.
