iirc all you need to know to play the game is in the manual. But yes, you have to learn circuit logic and stuff. Good luck!

This kind of reminds me of Carnage Heart, a PSX game I didn't have the patient to learn yet. In that, you use a very simple visual programming language to program robots to fight each other.
