alundra is great but prepare your butthole for a zelda style game with 60 hours of content and back to back dungeons with permanent missables that go on for fucking ever

The first and final chapter are absolutely amazing.

Everything in between is kinda meh.

I'm usually against guides but I would actually recommend consulting a guide for this one, I tried to play it without a guide the first time and completely missed unlocking fast travel so ended up backtracking way more than was needed. The Workimg Designs release also makes some of the later bosses so hard that you basically have to just spam the best spell book to kill them and it would be helpful to know which that's required for
