you don't need the trinket to play the game.

is that even the definitive version? Does it have anything Windows doesn't?

I love collectors.
I've made about $1500 in the last few months selling my old games on Facebook. It's always some greasy manchild (incl. two trannies) who doesn't seem to understand that emulators exist.

Emulators are dogshit and only retards think they're acceptable substitutes. They should just modchip or use flashcarts on real hardware.

Real hardware also requires maintenance and storage space, and with pre-HD consoles (i.e. everything "retro" by this board's standards, even if there's limited support for HD resolutions) you get a worse image on modern displays unless you use special mods or cables, and that's if your TV even has the required inputs in the first place.
Emulators are a sensible option for most people, and they even come with a number of perks. Free games, easy modding through romhacks, higher resolutions for 3D consoles, sharp pixels for 2D if you're into that, no physical storage space needed for consoles, games, or accessories, no need to maintain aging hardware or buy overpriced peripherals...

Emulators require you to play on a PC which is gay as fuck
Anonymous No.11873591 [Report] >>11873594
>>11873523
Not necessarily. You can emulate on phones, Android TV boxes, dedicated emulation handhelds... Hell, you can even emulate shit on other consoles.
Even if PC was the only option, which it isn't, saying they're "gay as fuck" doesn't argue anything. All it says is that you don't like PCs, and that you think your preference somehow makes your opinion correct.

>since when are ps2 games worth anything?
The last PS2 games were produced in 2013, over 12 years ago, and the earliest over 25 years ago.
The PS2 today is almost a decade older than the NES was when the PS2 launched.
By age alone those are collector's item.

It's a nice game but the size being only 1.5gb means you'll complete everything in 5 hours and put to the side again.

not to mention you'll hear the same voice clips 100000 times over

the average gaecube game is the same length as the average game on any other console of a comparable genre.ps2 had a lot more 100 hour JRPG games though which i dont feel bad about not playing through. (im sure many of them are good just saying they are padded because of grinding out levels)
