It's tight, but what makes it is the toad town hubworld for backtracking. TTYD had the bigger badge system with higher numbers and slightly expanded battles, but the rest of the game around just battling is a chore. it's been a few years since i played it though, what sucked was having to hop off the yoshi to enter pipes

JRPG is the most garbage tier genre so that's a pretty low bar to clear.

TTYD is way better though.

I like this game, it is well made, I love the art direction, but no.
Like >>11875045 says it gets tedious with a lot of game left to go.
I also kind of dislike "action" based combat in these turn based games. It gets extremely annoying doing the same timed button presses hundreds of times.
