You really save up some space when you compress the pre-rendered cutscenes and all of the audio into absolute dogshit.

1) The entirety of og RE2 could fit on a single disc
2) Some content was deleted, cutscenes, alternate ending etc for instance the cutscene in the sewer uses the video frorm Claire's scenario but the sound from Leon's scenario so it doesn't fit in either scenario; the scene when each character steps onto the heliport was also deleted etc
3) Everything else has its had its quality reduced, for instance every single background was cropped at the top and at the bottom (and stretched to compensate) but also turned into JPG; the quality of the FMVs is also abysmal

The Saturn lives on forever in our hearts. Among those that knew the Saturn, it's flame will burn eternally.

I've done it bros. I've found the alternate universe in which the devs of Code Veronica didn't rebel.

Code Veronica doesn't exist and instead we got Resident Evil 2 on Saturn. It's a beautiful world, the Saturn is saved, a shit game doesn't exist, and we have the most soulful version of RE2. I'm going back, see you suckers.

It was made possible by the desire to overcome a challenge and probably some passion for the N64.
