i cannot iterate to you how fucking mindblowing it was to take your pokemon, the ones you've been playing with for months, and transfer them over to the n64 and see them in 3D. unfortunately the novelty wore off after like 30 minutes and pokemon stadium as a game is kinda mid, but still.

I would've killed for the chance. Never had the N64 though, and my copy of Pokemon was bootleg anyway, kek. Also couldn't trade with other people. It was miserable having a bootleg version of Pokemon , but I still devoured it

I feel like the late '90s was peak Nintendo, but I was a kid then so it could be nostalgia.

so i can't quite remember but in stadium it's a few fewer button presses to get to the RELEASE option in the pokemon box. like the option is easier to come across in stadium than in the gb cart. anyway i didn't know how to read so good back then and i RELEASE'd my Charizard thinking it would be something good to do to him that you could only do in Stadium.

no, he's right. once the novelty of seeing your team in 3D wore off, it was pretty thin.
For many of us who were kids during Pokemania, it was showing the first signs of wearing thin around Stadium's release.

I remember being so upset when my Gamesharked Mew showed up in Stadium as the Pidgey I hacked it from.
Then some time later a kid who was at my house, friend of a friend, registered a legit Mew on a team for one of the battle modes I never cared to play. I kicked myself for months that I didnt ask him to register it in every possible mode.

If you are old enough to remember that you shouldn't be using words like mid. It just feels weird for old guys to try to use young people slang. You don't want to be that guy.

I remember releasing a Pokemon thinking they would go off into the wild and mate and I'd be able to find more of them in game.
Other than that I didn't understand why you'd want to get rid of a Pokemon you intentionally caught.

Completely agree, it's so cringy to see these older people using new trendy words that. Parroting NPC faggots trying to fit in.

If you are old enough to use 4chan you shouldn't get triggered by how people talk. You don't wanna be that guy. Makes you look like a blue haired tumblrina. What kind of person comes into a thread, ignores the topic at hand completely and just nitpicks at Anons for the way they speak? How do people like that get treated IRL? Consider yourself dunked upside down into a trashcan, fucking loser

Stadium games are soulless as fuck and one of the main reasons why gens 1 and 2 remain supreme
