>>11878114 (OP)>>11878118>>11878119>>11878151Man, people just really blindly take everything at face value.
Crash N.Sane DOES have analog jumps, and they function the same way as Crash OG. It has everything from a tiny hop to a gigantic bound depending on how long you hold it.
I'm really not sure what he meant, maybe he just misremembered, maybe the jump scaling based on how long you hold isn't exactly 1:1 with original, but honestly it's probably just mindless drivel considering it came from LinkedIn and if you've ever been there you know people just act like corporate husks saying the most inane shit just to try to one-up each other.
N.Sane does have very slightly different physics in general, but honestly it feels really great to play and they are more consistent across the games. But the sliding off platforms issues has been patched for years and that's what gave the game a bad rep. Crash N.Sane today though plays brilliant.
The ACTUAL issue with Crash N.Sane is the input lag, specifically the console versions. The original Crash games have around 80ms input lag, and the console versions of N.Sane have around 150ms of input lag and run at 30fps, it truly does feel awful. However on PC, the input lag is significantly lower, and using the method to uncap framerate you can get it to like <20ms, which feels *extremely* fluid and responsive. So the experience you have with this game on console vs. PC is night and day.
