1>3>2>4 but I love 4 dearly and it only slightly goes below 2. The vibe and atmosphere and feel is amazing and I love the varied locales(forest especially) and comfy/unsettling feel of being in your apartment. Loved looking out the window. Also Eileen was awesome and fun to have with you. Wish she was with you the whole game. Ghosts and impaling them on swords and everything - good shit. This game, while rough around the edges and different, was awesome! I often wonder if it had come out like originally planned as some random Konami game, and not a Silent Hill, if it would be more beloved as a cult classic. Being silent Hill 4 almost seems to hurt the game somehow for many.
>>11878740 (OP)So where's the Tommy Wiseau mod?
>>11878939Hilarious. Also can I just play these on pc from gog? Iām pretty sure 4 is on there. I missed them growing up except for some of 2 I think watching buddies take turns
4>1>2>3
I almost always replay 4.
I played 1 do death as a child.
2 surprised me with its twists.
I hate the "dad protag dies in game/sequel " so fuck SH3.
The fact that 4 is still a solid and very well made despite being lowest of the mainline titles speaks to just how great SH was as a series. I rank them 2>1>3>4.
Neets don't realize that being cooped up in a one-bedroom is not something most people would want.
4 was such a brave piece of art for its staunch anti-male genital mutilation message. having the villain show just how damaging the trauma of "circumcision" is to a man's psyche was brilliance, and one of the most important things Suguru Murakoshi has ever done.
they tried something creative. Always appreciated
