You would focused on managing a budget, but included the ability to pick actors and a director. The end goal was to get your movie to rank in amongst the other top ten well known, best selling movies.
The way the game worked was that you set budgets for your movie, putting a certain amount of money into marketing, and what not, and then released it to the masses. As the weeks would go by, your score would be determined by how much of a net profit (or loss) you ended up with.
It was non-graphical and ran in a windowed mode with gameplay akin to something like Dope Wars. It was well done and surprisingly fun to play.
Anyone know this game and what it was called?
