Lesser Known / Interesting PS2 games
I found this game scrolling through a database and I'm having a lot of fun playing it. The designs are cute and the controls/gimmick is intuitive but tricky enough to provide a challenge on the harder songs. I like the more weird / experimental games from this era, does anyone have recommendations for interesting lesser known ps2 (or gen 6 in general) games?

The greatest Tactical RPG of all time

Does not follow the Fire Emblem/Tactics ogre style extremely common

Very original

It's kind of like a weird medieval fantasy version of Quantum Leap.

Might be a bit higher profile, but I never see anyone talk about Blood Will Tell.

I found there's a mode in this game where you can control two characters with one controller. Adds a whole new level of challenge if you try to do it as one person. The sequel had an English release too, which is probably better if you don't read moonrunes cause you kinda have to read the tutorial.

Also thanks for the recommendations everyone, got a big list of stuff to check out now

It gets recommended from time to time, I really like the atmosphere and boss music and how you progressivly keep getting more human (getting real eyesight, hearing etc.)

Yeah. It's neat mechanic how you gradually take back your body parts from the demon to regain function.

Wait. I thought that was the one OP was posting about. I didn't know it was a sequel.

Yeah, but it only released in Japan. I didn't know much about the developer, Arika, cause I'm not big into fighting games, but they seem to have a strange history. They were founded by one of the co-creators of sf2, made street fighter ex, made a bunch of random tetris games, and now make battle royale stuff like mario 35, tetris 99, etc. But they also worked with Bandai Namco on the latest Tekken games? Technic Beat (the sequel) has a bunch of Namco game remixes on it apparently.

Also their home page still uses the character from these games as like their mascot, which I find funny

Gungrave. It's only ~2 hours long, but it's fun as hell locking-on to enemies and shooting them while dodge rolling around.
