And before you say, “Hurr durr, American website, no one here cares about your unsophisticated sport,” I’m sure there are plenty of Latin Americans and Europeans who’ve watched the show, read the source material, or played some of the video game adaptations, and would actually want to discuss Captain Tsubasa on /vr/.

Is that PS2 one good?
Argie here, back in the early 90s me and my friends learned hiragana without knowing we were learning hiragana by writing down the menues and passwords of Captain Tsubasa 1&2 for Famicom.
Then I played Tsubasa III for SNES on emulators later, great game too. The multiplayer is very addictive.

in the 90s we got 8 bola de dragon games, 2 sailor moon games, 1 mazinger game, but none of the oliver y benji ones.

It can only be an old Japan only anime that makes you feel cool and edgy, or shit that aired on Toonami in the late 90's decades after it ended

Captain Tsubasa's got some gems over the years, it's cool to see a thread for it. I hope Blue Lock gets some in the future too.
