Aside from the astral observatory, this is one of the most beautiful locations in MM. It's so peaceful, especially with the ambient wind and birds in the BG. I could stay here forever.

The decomp in widescreen is a better experience. You're not 1337 for having played a video game before someone else.

Oh no, I prefer the version that looks and runs better. Heaven forbid!
I called you a zoomie because you called me one for no reason. See how that works?
I'm not impressed you played the original version, I did too, and it doesn't make me a better or more-"real" of a gamer. I only played the decomp for ~15 minutes once to check it out and it runs very well. If I wanted to play MM again (I don't) I'd play the decomp. I find it hilarious that something so trivial upsets you.

really gay

he's a wandering, obsessional man possessed of a wandering, obsessional curse. Link crosses paths with him at the wrong time, and Link can't say no to someone who needs help. that's all.

MM is zelda gaiden. side story. there doesn't need to be any overarching significance...he's just a salesman who lost track of a valuable, dangerous piece of his inventory. this is just a side story, one of link's adventures, albeit one of the more memorable, but not would of world-historical importance for hyrule or its world.

Nah. The game has so many better locations if you play on a CRT. The colors enhance the game in a way words can't describe. The entire game feels like a dream. The tree area was cool, but it wasn't a heavy hitter.

7/23/2025, 12:52:19 AM No.11888752
MM is quite possibly the most pseud game ever made. It's the evangelion of video games. I'm surprised it doesn't end with Link finding out he's gay and then sitting in a chair while everyone claps for him. The funny part is that OoT is largely a by-the-numbers hero's journey fantasy tale, and yet it teaches a significant moral lesson that this piece of shit could never convey with all of its intellectual masturbation, which is that becoming an adult makes you aware of the world's evil, that most of your problems are your own fault, and that the only way to win through is to accept that you will never be honored for your good deeds, but to do them anyway. This pretentious romhack doesn't deserve to exist.
