>>11888287 (OP)>not listing GBA and NDSi version for fair judgementAnyway, it's PS1 version
>GBAProbably the worst version - port of PC version, smallest screen, worst quality of sound and graphics, excels at pretty much nothing beyond a few unique music tracks and easier difficulty.
>PCAnnoying to setup on modern PCs, loops the entire soundtrack of each world (and doesn't have dedicated tracks for each part of the level), has different placement of cages and lives for no reason - the only interesting thing to note is completely different first part of Bongo Hills
>NDSiPort of PC version but with QoL features (level "map", being able to skip level sections you've beaten during revisits) at the cost of small screen and complete casual galore (that fucking doubled health bar), also pain in the ass to find and emulate
>JaguarVery different from every other version - some levels have completely different layouts and physics (Mr.Dark's level might be the best one in this version compared to the rest), OST and audio have lower quality yet still have that retro charm in them, and there's also Breakout minigame.
>PS1 / SaturnSaturn is pretty much PS1 version but with fancy loading screens, a bit more visual effects (like the ones during Mr.Dark fight) and different background placement for some sections of the levels. The main reason I rate PS1 version over Saturn one is accessibility - it's piss easy to find and emulate or run on various PS consoles (home or portables).
GBC version is a different game so I didn't include it
