If you have friends, this game is exceptionally fun. I'm surprised to see so little discussion about it in retro communities t.b.h.
The only GC game that holds a candle against it (multiplayer wise) is SSBM but it mogs everything else.

It's exceptionally fun regardless of one's likability if you ask me. I presume it's not discussed because it's basically a GBA port. That and there's only ~1.5 "retro" Warioware games that can be discussed here anyway. Shame because Touched! is great

Warioware Touched also came out after the GC port and before the Wii one, you're forgetting a little more than that.

I remember this game having way less content than the GBA game it got its microgames from instead of being a port with added multiplayer modes. I had some fun with it on a rental with a friend but it seemed like a dumb thing to buy. Practically a demo. Gamecube was not short on good multiplayer games.

Less content AND it's effectively the same microgames as GBA. I know the janky and vaguely retro graphics are part of the point, but it's a really hard sell knowing it's just the same visuals as the GBA game for more money.
